Cazuela de Ave

Este fin de semana tuve la suerte de probar nuevamente la exquisita cazuela de ave de mi madre. ¡Qué delicia! con todos los ingredientes necesarios, sabor y ese toque de cariño que la hace única.

Ingredientes

  • 4 presas de pollo
  • 1/4 Kg de zapallo
  • 1 zanahoria
  • 1/2 cebolla
  • 1/2 taza de arroz
  • 1/2 taza de porotos verdes
  • 4 papas grandes
  • 1 choclo grande
  • 1 cubo de caldo de carne
  • 1 diente de ajo
  • cilantro picado
  • sal, pimienta, orégano
  • aceite de oliva

Lava las presas de pollo y quítales la piel. Troza el zapallo en cubos grandes, la papa en mitades, el choclo en 4 trozos, la zanahoria y porotos verdes a lo largo (en tiras) y la cebolla en gajos gruesos.  Disuelve el cubo de caldo de carne en 1 taza de agua hirviendo.

Calienta 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva en una olla grande y sofríe el pollo con el diente de ajo, la zanahoria, la cebolla, pimienta y orégano por un par de minutos. Agrega 1 litro de agua hirviendo, la taza de caldo de carne disuelto y 1 cucharadita rasa de sal. Agrega el zapallo, papas, choclo, porotos verdes y el arroz. Deja cocer a fuego moderado por 25 minutos. Sirve bien caliente y decora con el cilantro picado.
